The actor recalls an amusing airport interaction and shares behind-the-scenes memories of the hit comedy.

Fardeen Khan, fondly remembered for his role in the blockbuster comedy No Entry (2005), recently shared a funny yet thought-provoking encounter with a fan. In an interview with Mashable India, Fardeen revealed how a female fan, accompanied by her husband and teenage kids, requested him to avoid doing films like No Entry, citing its theme of infidelity as a reason.

Recalling the incident, Fardeen said with a chuckle, “She told me, ‘Fardeen, I’m a big fan, but if you ever do such an adult movie like No Entry again, I won’t remain your fan.’” The actor added that the woman was visibly frustrated, explaining that her family would drop everything to watch the movie on TV, a situation she found irksome given its plot centered on marital cheating.

Despite the critique, No Entry remains a fan-favorite comedy. Fardeen took the opportunity to reflect on his joyful experience filming the movie alongside Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and director Anees Bazmee. He praised Bazmee’s witty writing and direction while highlighting Salman Khan’s contribution, which he said elevated the film’s charm.

Sharing anecdotes from the set, Fardeen fondly remembered the camaraderie and laughter among the cast. “There were moments when we couldn’t even look at each other without bursting into laughter,” he shared. “Half the time, I avoided making eye contact with Anil Kapoor because I just couldn’t stop laughing.”

Released in 2005, No Entry became a milestone in Bollywood comedy, striking a balance between humor and sensitive themes like infidelity. The film featured an ensemble cast, including Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, and Celina Jaitly, alongside its leading trio, leaving audiences entertained and coming back for more.

Fardeen’s anecdote is a reminder of how movies can evoke diverse reactions, from love to critique, reflecting the diverse perspectives of fans.
