The series centers on Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mafia capo played by Stallone, who is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, after serving 25 years in prison. Faced with betrayal from his mob family, Dwight assembles an unlikely crew to establish his own criminal empire in unfamiliar territory.
The star-studded cast includes Jay Will, Max Casella, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund, Vincent Piazza, Dana Delany, and Annabella Sciorra. Season 2 introduced Neal McDonough and Frank Grillo, adding even more firepower to the ensemble.
Created by Yellowstone mastermind Taylor Sheridan, Tulsa King marks Stallone’s first regular television role. The show debuted in 2022 to strong reception, with its second season, launched in September, receiving widespread critical acclaim and earning a flawless 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of more thrilling chapters in this gritty saga.
