Taron Egerton Joins Charlize Theron in Netflix Thriller Apex Directed by Baltasar Kormákur
The action-packed thriller promises intense suspense as a rock climber becomes the prey in a deadly wilderness chase.
Taron Egerton will star alongside Charlize Theron in Netflix’s highly anticipated thriller Apex, directed by Baltasar Kormákur. The film, penned by Jeremy Robbins, blends the nerve-wracking thrill of Free Solo with the psychological tension of Silence of the Lambs. It centers around a rock climber who unexpectedly becomes the target of a dangerous hunt in the wild.
Theron is not only starring in but also producing the project with her partners Dawn Olmstead, Beth Kono, and AJ Dix under their new production company. Kormákur will produce through his RVK Productions, along with Ian Bryce, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and David Ready under Chernin Entertainment.
Egerton, known for his breakout role in Kingsman: The Secret Service, recently wrapped production on Firebug for Apple TV+, where he also serves as a producer. He will next appear in Carry On, another Netflix thriller premiering on December 13, and in the indie thriller She Rides Shotgun.
