Vikrant Massey Opens Up About His Live-In Relationship Journey: “I’m Scared to Talk About It”
The 12th Fail actor reflects on his relationship with wife Sheetal Thakur, sharing why he values live-in experiences yet hesitates to discuss it publicly.

Vikrant Massey has often faced criticism and skepticism, particularly regarding his personal choices. In a recent interview with The Lallantop, the actor expressed his fear about discussing his past live-in relationship with his now-wife, Sheetal Thakur. Although he believes in live-in relationships, he clarified that he doesn’t intend to promote the concept.
Reflecting on his eight-year relationship with Sheetal, Massey admitted feeling anxious when asked about it. “I believe in live-in relationships, but again, I am not propagating it. You have put me in a tight spot. I am speechless. I am even scared to openly talk about it,” he shared.
Vikrant took a moment to gather his thoughts, then explained that living together before marriage was the right decision for them. It allowed them to truly understand each other and build a foundation before committing for life. Working in the same field, the couple found that living together helped them support each other more effectively, though Vikrant acknowledged that every relationship is unique. “I don’t really know what to say because I am really scared to talk about it,” he repeated, underscoring his hesitancy.
Massey also highlighted the importance of family involvement and careful partner selection for long-term happiness. After years of dating, Vikrant and Sheetal tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Himachal Pradesh in 2022. They welcomed their son, Vardaan, in February 2024.
