Recently, it was reported that Akshay Kumar, along with the original cast, has acquired the rights to produce Bhagam Bhag 2, a move aimed at reuniting the beloved characters for a new comedic adventure.

According to Pinkvilla, Shemaroo granted Akshay Kumar the rights to the film, giving him the green light to begin work on the sequel. Currently in the scriptwriting phase, the project has recruited a fresh team of writers to capture the same humor and excitement that made the first film a hit.

Kumar reportedly aims to bring back his original co-stars, Paresh Rawal and Govinda, in hopes of recreating the iconic on-screen dynamic that fans loved. Once the script is finalized, a director will be chosen, with production projected to start by late 2025. If all goes as planned, fans can expect to see Bhagam Bhag 2 in theaters by 2026, potentially marking a grand return of Bollywood’s golden age of comedy.
