Kartik Aaryan Recalls Standing Outside SRK’s House as a Young Fan, Now Makes Sure to Give Fans the Moments He Once Craved

Shah Rukh Khan is not just a Bollywood icon but a global phenomenon, inspiring millions, including many actors from the industry. Kartik Aaryan, one of the rising stars of Hindi cinema, recently shared a nostalgic memory of the first time he saw SRK—and it wasn’t on a film set or red carpet, but outside Khan’s iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat.
In a candid interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik revealed that he has been a devoted fan of Shah Rukh Khan since his early days. He fondly recounted a moment from his first visit to Mumbai, when he joined a crowd of eager fans at Bandstand, hoping to catch a glimpse of the superstar. It was a Sunday—when Shah Rukh is known to greet fans—and Kartik recalled the thrill of spotting him through the tinted windows of his car.
“The first celebrity I ever saw was Shah Rukh Khan. I had only seen him in his car then,” Kartik said, reminiscing about that unforgettable encounter. Reflecting on his fanboy experience, he added, “Having been on that side, I know exactly what it feels like to be a fan waiting for just a glance, a photo, or an autograph.”
This early encounter shaped Kartik’s approach to interacting with his own fans. He emphasized that he makes a conscious effort to acknowledge and engage with them, understanding the emotions behind their excitement. “I try to make as many people happy as I can,” he explained, aware that every autograph and photo can mean the world to someone.
On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, set to hit theaters this Diwali. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will soon begin working on his next project, King, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, with filming expected to start in early 2025.
From a young fan standing outside Mannat to a superstar himself, Kartik Aaryan’s journey is a testament to how dreams can come full circle.
