Bollywood stars expressed their deep sorrow following the passing of renowned industrialist Ratan Tata on Wednesday night. Tata, who transformed the Tata Group into India’s largest conglomerate during his nearly two-decade tenure as chairman, died at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai, where he had been in the intensive care unit since Monday.

Tata, a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, passed away at 11:30 p.m. and left behind a legacy that has not only shaped India’s corporate landscape but also impacted millions globally. Celebrities like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, and Anushka Sharma took to social media to pay their respects, joining world leaders and the business community in remembering the titan.

Salman Khan shared his condolences on social media, stating, “Deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Ratan Tata.” Actor Ajay Devgn added on X (formerly Twitter), “The world mourns the loss of a visionary. Ratan Tata’s legacy will forever inspire generations. His contributions to India and beyond are immeasurable. We are deeply grateful. Rest in peace, Sir.”
