Emraan Hashmi Injured on the Sets of “Goodachari 2”
Shooting of the Pan-Indian Film Temporarily Halted
The highly anticipated sequel to the successful Telugu film “Goodachari” has faced a minor setback. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who plays a pivotal role in “Goodachari 2,” sustained injuries while filming an action sequence. Due to the injury, the shooting of the film has been temporarily paused to allow Hashmi to recover.
“Goodachari 2” is being produced on a larger scale than its predecessor and has been shot in various international locations. The film is expected to have a pan-Indian release. Apart from Hashmi, the star-studded cast includes Prakash Raj, Banita Sandhu, Madhu Shalini, and Supriya. Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi is making his directorial debut with this stylish action thriller.
The production team is now focusing on ensuring Hashmi’s complete recovery so that the filming can resume as soon as possible. The next schedule of “Goodachari 2” is expected to take place abroad, where some crucial scenes will be shot. The film is slated for release in the summer of next year.
