Actor Karthi has officially confirmed that he will be reuniting with acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the much-anticipated sequel, Kaithi 2. The actor made the announcement during a recent event in Hyderabad, where he also revealed that the film is set for a 2025 release. Fans of the first Kaithi film have been eagerly awaiting this news, as the original became a massive success, setting the stage for an even more gripping follow-up.
Kaithi 2 is expected to delve deeper into the lives of key characters, particularly focusing on Dilli, portrayed by Karthi, and his backstory before his imprisonment. It will also explore his complex relationship with Adaikalam, a character played by Harish Uthaman in the original movie.
