Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is gearing up for a return to Bollywood, not with Vaani Kapoor as earlier rumored, but alongside actress Ridhi Dogra in an exciting new theatrical production. Sources confirm that the two will headline a romantic-comedy drama, although the project is still in its early stages. Supporting actors are yet to be cast, and the film’s director remains undisclosed.

The insider revealed that while the two stars have been confirmed as romantic leads, filming hasn’t started due to their busy schedules. Shooting is expected to begin by the end of this year, with a target release date either in late 2025 or early 2026. Notably, the movie will be filmed entirely overseas, with locations like New York and London being considered to complement the film’s storyline.

Fawad Khan, 42, recently reunited with his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed in the web series Barzakh, which followed a family coming together for their father’s wedding. The show received high praise in India, leaving fans eager for more from the beloved actor.
