The Bollywood star spent quality time with children battling cancer, urging more celebrities to support such initiatives and spread hope.

Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji took a meaningful pause from her busy schedule to support cancer patients on Saturday, September 21, as part of the global World Rose Day campaign. Partnering with the Cancer Patients Aid Association, the campaign aims to spread awareness about cancer and stand in solidarity with those battling the disease.

In a touching video that has been widely shared, Rani is seen engaging with children affected by cancer, taking selfies, and chatting with them. The actress joined in a cake-cutting celebration and even took the kids on a memorable ride in an open-top bus. During the bus ride, the iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link lit up in bright red, marking the special occasion.

Speaking to ANI at the event, Rani expressed her gratitude for being involved in the initiative. “I am thankful to the organizers for inviting me. It gave me the opportunity to spend quality time with these brave kids who are fighting this disease. I pray for their recovery and hope more people, especially celebrities, come forward to support them. These children are the real heroes.”

She emphasized the importance of giving time and love to children affected by cancer, adding, “Our support will give them the strength to keep fighting. I will continue to raise awareness about cancer, and if I ever have the opportunity to work on a project related to this cause, I will absolutely do it.”
