While Stree 2 has been a massive box office success, some viewers have expressed disappointment with the film’s limited exploration of Shraddha Kapoor’s character. However, the makers are already working to rectify this, with plans for a standalone film focused on her origin story.

In an interview with Zoom, writer Niren Bhatt revealed that the team’s decision to keep Shraddha’s character’s name a secret was intentional. This was to set the stage for a future project that would delve deeper into her backstory as Stree’s daughter. Bhatt emphasized that this spin-off would be a significant part of the Maddock Supernatural Universe.

The Maddock Supernatural Universe is expanding rapidly, with Stree 3, Bhediya 2, and the upcoming ‘Vampires of Vijay Nagar’ already in development. The addition of Akshay Kumar as a villain in Stree 2 has further fueled excitement for the franchise.
