James Spader Returns as Ultron in New Marvel Series

Emmy-winning actor to reprise villainous role in WandaVision Spinoff

James Spader, the iconic voice behind the robotic villain Ultron, is set to make a triumphant return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Emmy-winning actor will reprise his role in the upcoming Marvel Studios series, tentatively titled ‘Vision Quest’. This series will serve as a follow-up to the critically acclaimed ‘WandaVision’.

Joining Spader is Paul Bettany, who will once again portray the android Vision. Bettany’s character, who fell in love with Scarlett Witch and was tragically destroyed by Thanos, made a surprising return in ‘WandaVision’. Now, as a ghostly white android, Vision embarks on a quest to find a new purpose in life.

At the helm of this ambitious series is Terry Matalas, the acclaimed showrunner behind ‘Star Trek: Picard’. Matalas is bringing his unique storytelling abilities to ‘Vision Quest’, promising a captivating exploration of Vision’s journey.

The series will also delve into the complex relationship between Vision and Ultron. Marvel fans will recall that Ultron, a sentient being created by Tony Stark, turned against humanity and created his own version of Vision. While Ultron was seemingly destroyed in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, his return remains a mystery.

‘Vision Quest’ is poised to be the third installment in a Marvel trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision’ and will continue with the upcoming ‘Agatha All Along’. With a planned shoot in England early next year, fans can expect to see this exciting new series hit screens soon.
