Dakota Fanning and Abby Elliott Join Star-Studded Cast of Peacock’s New Thriller “All Her Fault

New Suburban Thriller Series Adapted from Best-Selling Novel to Feature Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy, Sophia Lillis, and Michael Peña

Dakota Fanning (“Ripley”) and Abby Elliott (“The Bear”) are the latest additions to the cast of Peacock’s upcoming suburban thriller series, “All Her Fault.” They join an already impressive lineup that includes Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy, Sophia Lillis, and Michael Peña.

Fanning is set to portray “Jenny,” while Elliott will take on the role of “Lia.” Sarah Snook, known for her role in “Succession,” will executive produce and star as “Marissa.” The series, based on Andrea Mara’s best-selling novel, delves into a seemingly plausible yet terrifying situation that unveils the deep secrets of a community.

The cast also includes Jake Lacy (“Apples Never Fall”) as “Peter,” Sophia Lillis (“I Am Not Okay With This”) as “Carrie,” and Michael Peña (“Unstoppable”) as “Detective McConville.”

Megan Gallagher, known for her work on “Wolf” and “Suspicion,” serves as the writer, creator, and executive producer. Director Minkie Spiro, with credits including “3 Body Problem,” “Downton Abbey,” and “Dead to Me,” will direct the pilot and several other episodes, also serving as an executive producer.

The series follows Marissa Irvine, who arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue to pick up her son Milo from a playdate, only to find that the woman who answers the door neither knows Milo nor has seen him. This marks the beginning of a parent’s worst nightmare.

Other executive producers include Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame, and Joanna Strevens for Carnival Films (“The Day of the Jackal,” “Lockerbie,” “Downton Abbey”), along with Jennifer Gabler Rawlings, Christine Sacani, and producer Terry Gould. Andrea Mara, the novel’s author, will serve as an associate producer.

Produced by Carnival Films for Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group, the series will be distributed by NBC Universal Global TV Distribution.
