Ryan Reynolds Drops Teaser and Poster for ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’

Dynamic Duo Returns: Deadpool and Wolverine Team Up in Upcoming Marvel Film

Ryan Reynolds has ignited excitement among Marvel fans with a fresh teaser and poster unveiling the much-anticipated Deadpool and Wolverine movie collaboration.

In the teaser clip, Deadpool, portrayed by Reynolds, delivers a characteristically witty monologue, teasing Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman. “Look, eventually, you’re going to hang up the claws and it’s going to make a lot of people very sad,” Deadpool quips. “But one day, your old pal Wade’s gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again, and when he does, say yes. I’ve always wanted to ride with you, Log. Deadpool… and Wolverine!”

This sneak peek arrived ahead of the full trailer release scheduled for Monday, April 22.

Slated to hit theaters on July 26, 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine is helmed by director Shawn Levy, with a team of co-writers including Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy himself.

Hugh Jackman, reprising his iconic role as Wolverine, brings his legendary presence to the Marvel film. However, director Shawn Levy is adamant that this project should not be dubbed Deadpool 3.

“In crafting the Deadpool and Wolverine story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles,” Levy expressed to Screen Rant at CinemaCon. “It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”

Teasing audiences, Levy hinted at the film’s tone, promising it to be “gnarly” and “funny,” with early screenings yielding “extremely, extremely promising” results.
