In a recent media interaction in Hyderabad, producer KK Radhamohan, while promoting Aayush Sharma’s upcoming movie Ruslaan, dropped exciting hints about the much-awaited sequels to Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathore (2012), sparking a wave of anticipation among fans.

During the event, Radhamohan revealed that renowned writer Vijayendra Prasad had crafted captivating screenplays for him, sending a ripple of excitement among attendees. Grinning broadly, Radhamohan shared, “Vijayendra Prasad has written two stories for me.” He disclosed that one of them is Vikramarkudu 2, the Hindi version of Rowdy Rathore 2, with the storyline already in place and the hunt for a stellar cast underway.

Adding to the excitement, Radhamohan hinted at a sequel to the heartwarming blockbuster, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, stating, “He has also readied the script for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.” However, he emphasized that the sequel’s fate ultimately hinges on Salman Khan’s approval. “Soon, he’ll narrate it to Salman bhai, and we’ll see what happens next,” Radhamohan continued, fueling speculation about the direction of the beloved franchise.

Salman Khan’s previous acknowledgment of a Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel further stoked anticipation. Speaking at a Mumbai event promoting RRR in 2021, Khan affirmed, “It’s true that a Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel is in the works.” He hinted at a reunion with SS Rajamouli, expressing his strong bond with the director and his father, who had previously collaborated on the original Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Meanwhile, rumors circulating since 2023, as reported by Bollywood Hungama, suggest that the sequel might be titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan, with Pooja Hegde potentially taking on the lead role, adding another layer of intrigue to the sequel’s development.

As excitement mounts for these long-awaited sequels, the question of who will step into Akshay Kumar’s shoes for Rowdy Rathore 2 remains unanswered, with Radhamohan yet to confirm the lead actor for the highly anticipated action-packed sequel.
