Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone’s upcoming movie ‘Kinds of Kindness’ Announces Release Date

After the Oscar-winning collaboration of ‘Poor Things’ between director Yorgos Lanthimos and actress Emma Stone, the duo is all set to bring us their next one.

The upcoming sci-fi anthology movie ‘Kinds of Kindness,’ is distributed by the indie studio, Searchlight Pictures, and its theatrical release is slated to be on June 21, 2024.

The Golden Globe Award-winning director has described his upcoming as a contemporary film, set in the US with three different stories where four or five actors portray one part in each story. The cast includes Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.

‘Kinds of Kindness’ will mark to be the fifth collaboration between Stone and Lanthimos. Variety reported that talking about her creative collaboration with the director, Emma Stone said,

“Yorgos feels like a lot of his process of working with people or putting people in his films has to do with who they are as a person. It’s not just performance-based.”

Robbie Ryan is in charge of the cinematography while Thomas Newman is in charge of the music.
