Alan Ritchson Eager to Portray Batman Amid Fan Excitement

Actor Alan Ritchson, widely known for his role in “Reacher,” expresses enthusiasm towards the prospect of playing Batman in the DC Universe, as fans champion his candidacy.

In an interview with the Post Cred Podcast, Ritchson expressed gratitude, stating, “The fact that people are interested in me playing Batman is a real honor and privilege.” Reflecting on his childhood admiration for the character, he recounted vivid memories, including scenes with the Joker, which left a lasting impression.

Ritchson’s familiarity with DC roles extends to his portrayal of Aquaman in “Smallville” back in 2005, followed by his stint as Hawk in the HBO series “Titans” from 2018 to 2021.

Speaking further on the potential role of Batman, Ritchson remarked, “Those iconic moments really resonated with me as a child. For there to even be a conversation or a rumor mill surrounding this role, for me… all I can do is laugh. I just think it’s wild that’s where we are. I would love to. I would absolutely love to [play him].”
