Nitesh Tiwari Eyes Vijay Sethupathi for Key Role in Upcoming Ramayan Epic

In an exciting development for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan project, the director is reportedly in talks with Vijay Sethupathi for the role of Vibhishana, Ravan’s brother. The star-studded cast already includes Yash as Ravan, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Ranbir Kapoor as Ram. Despite expressing interest in the project, Vijay Sethupathi is yet to finalize his involvement due to ongoing negotiations about compensation.

The film, slated for a Diwali 2025 release, is also rumored to feature Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi and the possibility of Sunny Deol portraying Hanuman. However, Bobby Deol reportedly turned down the role of Kumbhakaran. Producers Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra are said to be in the preproduction phase, creating anticipation among fans eager for official announcements about the lead actors.
