Kunal Kemmu’s Directorial Debut ‘Madgaon Express’ Takes a Hilarious Trip to Goa, Set for March 22 Release

Excel Entertainment, the production company led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, unveiled the first look and release date of actor Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut, “Madgaon Express,” on Instagram. The film, scheduled to hit theaters on March 22, follows the misadventures of childhood friends Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Avinash Tiwary on a trip to Goa.

Shared with the caption, “Bachpan ke sapne… lag gaye apne!!! #MadgaonExpress mein aapka swagat hai. Taiyaar ho jao ek yaadgaar yatra ke liye (Our childhood dreams have returned to bite us. Welcome to #MadgaonExpress. Get ready for a memorable journey),” the film promises a comic exploration of a Goa trip gone awry. Kunal Kemmu, known for his roles in various films, including “Kalyug,” “Traffic Signal,” “99,” the “Golmaal” series, “Go Goa Gone,” and “Lootcase,” not only directs but also penned the screenplay.
