‘She-Hulk’ Star Tatiana Maslany Casts Doubt on Season 2 Prospects

Tatiana Maslany, the lead actress in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, has hinted that fans should not hold their breath for a Season 2 of the Disney+ series. Unlike Loki, the only live-action MCU Disney+ original to secure a Season 2, Maslany suggested during a recent Codenames LIVE! – The New Class Twitch stream that the budget constraints of Season 1 make a continuation unlikely. Although not delivering an official announcement, Maslany’s remarks dampen hopes for a She-Hulk Season 2 from Marvel Studios.
The She-Hulk series, like other MCU Disney+ shows, left enough loose ends for a potential second season, playfully referencing it in the show’s finale. However, Maslany’s comments add a dash of humor, emphasizing that the show “blew [its] budget” in the first season, prompting Disney to decline further seasons.
While Maslany’s response isn’t an official confirmation, it puts a damper on expectations for a She-Hulk Season 2. Nevertheless, the character Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) may still make appearances in the MCU, considering the show’s history of cameos.
One potential avenue for Jennifer Walters’ return is through Daredevil: Born Again, now officially part of the MCU. Given the characters’ history, Jen and Matt Murdock could cross paths again, whether romantically, professionally, or platonically. With Daredevil’s recent canonization, the possibility of a She-Hulk cameo in the Daredevil series is on the table, similar to Matt’s appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Despite uncertainties about a She-Hulk Season 2, fans can currently stream She-Hulk: Attorney at Law in its entirety on Disney+.
