Star-Studded Affair: Dunki Premieres at Exclusive YRF Screening Ahead of Highly-Anticipated Release

In a glamorous affair, the creators of the much-anticipated film “Dunki” hosted a private screening exclusively for celebrities at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Film (YRF) ahead of its official release. The city’s elite turned out in full force for the screening on Wednesday night, eagerly awaiting the cinematic spectacle starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
The spotlight shone on Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen romantic interest and main character, Taapsee Pannu, as she graced the premiere in luxurious style. Flashing a radiant smile for the cameras, Pannu was captured arriving in her high-end automobile.
“Dunki” marks the first collaboration between SRK and renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, creating a buzz of excitement on social media platforms. With the film set to hit theaters on December 21, advance reservations have already started to make a significant impact at the box office.
According to a Sacnilk report, “Dunki” secured an impressive 3,62,027 tickets for Day 1 across India, raking in ₹10.3 crore so far. The momentum is expected to rise further, considering the film earned ₹7.46 crore from advance reservations on Tuesday. Featuring stellar performances from Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles, the narrative revolves around a group of friends and their aspirations of traveling abroad.
Trade analyst Girish Johar revealed key details about the film, stating that “Dunki” boasts a runtime of two hours and forty-one minutes. Making the announcement on social media, he disclosed that the film has received a “U/A” certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, further heightening the anticipation. In a post on X (previously Twitter), he wrote, “Super exclusive Dunki gets ‘U/A’ from Censor. Runtime 2 hrs 41 mins.”
As “Dunki” gears up for its release on December 21, it is set to go head-to-head with Prabhas’ “Salaar,” creating a cinematic clash that has captured the attention of movie enthusiasts nationwide.
