The acclaimed singer, known for hits like “Dance the Night,” made her acting debut in the Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie film, where both Lipa and Cena portrayed merpeople. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Lipa humorously expressed, “It seems like I can’t seem to do anything without him! He’s really my emotional support actor.”

Reflecting on Gerwig’s directorial prowess, Lipa praised her for defying expectations with the Barbie film. She shared, “The thing is, Greta just really defied all odds.
