Ravi Teja Unveils First Look of “Mr. Bachchan” – A Nostalgic Homage to Amitabh Bachchan’s Iconic Era

Ravi Teja, the charismatic Telugu star, has treated fans to the initial glimpse of his upcoming film, “Mr. Bachchan.” The unveiled billboard captures Teja embodying a devoted follower of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, reminiscent of Big B’s early years.

In the shared poster, Ravi Teja expressed his honor in portraying a character named after his favorite, Amitabh Bachchan, with the caption, “#MrBachchan Naam tho suna hoga (You must have heard the name). Honoured to play the character with the name of my favourite @SrBachchan baas (sic).”

Enthusiastic fans flooded the comments section, eagerly awaiting the Tollywood star’s rendition of the iconic Amitabh Bachchan on the big screen. One fan exclaimed, “Waiting to watch Tollywood Amitabh on the big screen,” while another expressed delight in the collaboration of two favorite actors.

This venture marks the third collaboration between Ravi Teja and filmmaker Harish Shankar, following their successful projects “Mirapakay” and “Shock.” The film stars Bhagyashri Borse alongside Ravi Teja, and Harish Shankar directs the much-anticipated project, set to hit theaters in 2024.

Bhagyashri Borse, acclaimed for her role in “Yaariyan 2,” makes her Telugu cinema debut as the lead female character in “Mr. Bachchan.” TG Vishwa Prasad takes on the role of producer, with Vivek Kuchibhotla as co-producer, and the musical genius Mickey J Meyer composing the score. Amidst his busy schedule, Ravi Teja is also set to grace the screen in “Eagle,” scheduled for release on January 13, 2024.
