PLOT
Doctor Karthikeya (Nikhil Siddharth) is expelled from the hospital after assaulting a mayor who was conducting yagam in the ICU. Karthikeya travels to Dwaraka with his mother and uncle Sadananda, a devotee of Lord Krishna, to fulfil a commitment his mother made years earlier. An archaeologist there informs Karthikeya that he has been chosen to complete a task. He is saved by Mugdha, the archaeologist’s granddaughter, and the two of them look into the odd things that happened. They learn of a covert organization that guards Lord Krishna’s anklet.

Karthikeya 2 starts with the prediction of the future by lord Krishna. A magnificent animated background narrates the history of a brilliant ornament that was concealed in India. Coming to the present, Dr. Karthikeya and his mother are traveling to Dwaraka. He is entangled in a mystery regarding the special Kankanam there. What unique mystery is this? How was it resolved by Karthikeya? You must see the movie on a wide screen to know the answers.
Rao, who is aware that Santanu’s selfish aims are putting his own life in jeopardy, finds the ideal person in Dr. Karthikeyan, who with the help of his accumulated knowledge and investigation uncovered the priceless anklet. Santanu is only one threat; Karthikeyan is in another danger with members of the Abheera tribe who intend to kill anyone attempting to take Lord Krishna’s possessions.
As an actor, Nikhil delivered decent performance for the part. Anupama Parameswaran, like Srinivasa Reddy and Harsha Chemudu, is more of Nikhil’s company.
The position of Aditya Menon is not clear. Anupam Kher, playing a blind professor, has an impact in the last moments. Overall, the movie offers excellent production qualities and engrossing moments in the second half. Despite the narrative inconsistencies and logical flaws, the movie is nevertheless watchable.
For these kinds of thrillers, the music, production design, and cinematography should be of the highest caliber. The music programme does not yield the expected outcomes. No scenario was enhanced by the background score. The camera work for the subject is suitable.
The editing could have used more precision. The dialogue writing accomplishes the goal. The visual effects work well enough.
Overall, the movie portrays Karthikeyan’s exhilarating journey to solve puzzles and find the concealed anklet while defying all the difficulties.

Karthikeya 2 deserves 4 out of 5 stars. This is a fantastic approach to demonstrate our past while generating a lot of excitement.
