Shah Rukh Khan Cheers for “Fighter” Trailer and Praises Director Siddharth Anand’s Flair

Renowned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan recently lauded the trailer of the upcoming film “Fighter,” expressing admiration for the star cast and director Siddharth Anand. In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Khan commended Anand’s filmmaking style and humor, adding, “The only thing that can be more beautiful than Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor is the way Siddharth Anand presents his films.”

The actor, who collaborated with Anand in the blockbuster film “Pathaan” earlier this year, also extended his best wishes to the entire team, stating, “Looking so good all round, and finally Sid has developed a sense of humour… ‘you must be joking’ bro! Shah Rukh Khan’s praise for “Fighter” is not the first time he has acknowledged the film. Back in August, he highlighted the impressive trio of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, expressing his excitement for the movie. Khan’s previous collaboration with Anand in “Pathaan” was a massive success, marking his fourth film with Deepika Padukone.

The actor reflected on their longstanding association, mentioning Deepika’s Bollywood debut in “Om Shanti Om” in 2007 and their subsequent collaborations in “Happy New Year” and “Chennai Express,” both of which achieved significant box office success. The duo last appeared together in Atlee’s “Jawan,” where Deepika Padukone made a memorable cameo.

In “Fighter,” Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone share the screen for the first time, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film. After the triumph of “Pathaan” in 2023, which also featured Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, and their collaboration in “Bachna Ae Haseeno” in 2008, this marks Deepika Padukone’s third film with director Siddharth Anand.
