Sara’s trainer, Dr. Siddhant Bhargava, delves into her fitness journey in an exclusive interview with Mid-day. Contrary to rumors about weight gain, he clarifies that Sara’s brief hiatus to London was filled with responsibilities, including a shoot for a chat show and a runway appearance. The seasoned nutritionist, overseeing Sara’s diet and fitness for years, unveils the strategy behind her swift transformation.
Dr. Bhargava explains, “No weight was gained; instead, Sara wanted to regain her physical fitness. We implemented a calorie-restricted diet, reducing her intake from 1,700 to 1,200 calories. Emphasizing an extremely high protein diet, we carefully balanced the essential fiber intake for efficient digestion. Carbohydrates were limited to one meal, with a daily intake of 100 grams of protein, 70 grams of carbs, and about 40 grams of fats. Combined with intense workouts, Sara achieved remarkable results in just two weeks.”
