Review

A wonderful tale of friendship, tenacity, and the extent people will go to for love, “3 Ekka” is more than just a funny movie. It highlights the friendship between Colour, Baba, and Bhuriyo and their shared experiences navigating the ups and downs of their journey.

This comedy, which also stars Kinjal Rajpriya, Esha Kansara, and Tarjanee Bhadla, and the dynamic three of Malhar Thakar, Yash Soni, and Mitra Gadhvi, is sure to make you laugh and smile. Rajesh Sharma is the director of the movie, and the trio’s chemistry and their friendship is what makes the plot work.

The lighthearted first half, which features some scenarios and rib-tickling hilarity, lays the stage for a strong second half. The story and performers take center stage with straightforward settings and not overly elaborate events.

The audience is surprised by the story’s twists and turns, which are handled deftly by director Rajesh Sharma. Although the film’s second half might have used better editing, the intriguing ending will make you smile widely.

When it comes to the performances, the cast did a terrific job. Malhar and Kinjal from Chhello Divas have great on-screen chemistry, and Esha and Tarjanee are the ideal foils for Yash and Mitra’s wild personas. Malhar, Yash, and Mitra deliver standout performances with impeccable comic timing.

The supporting cast, which includes Om Bhatt, Prem Gadhavi, and Chetan Daiya among others, elevates the movie, and the second half features a few notable appearances. With his performance, Hitu Kanodia makes a strong impression. Although the film doesn’t have many songs, the background soundtrack by Kedar-Bhargav is intriguing, and Tehunk is a lively tune that lingers with you long after you leave the theater.

Rating: 4/5
