Rating: 3.5/5

Synopsis:

The movie follows Keto (Dhananjay), a middle-class man who gets entangled in a series of problems instigated by Dinoo Savkkar (Ramesh Indira). The central conflict revolves around Keto’s struggle to either adhere to his principles or compromise them to achieve his goals. Despite an engaging storyline, the film is marred by excessive melodrama, warranting a rating of 3.5/5.

Plot:

Set in the fictional Janatha City, Keto is a cab driver who also runs a packers and movers business. He borrows a truck from a local goon, Dinoo Savkkar. Keto’s closest relationships are with his two siblings and his beloved mother.

Keto’s character is compelling due to his unwavering honesty, as shown by his refusal to engage in illegal activities for easy money. However, circumstances force him to take a 31 lakh loan from Dinoo, who is aware of Keto’s shooting skills and assigns him morally questionable tasks. The movie explores whether Keto will betray his beliefs or resist the pressures from Dinoo.

Review:

The movie’s first half introduces the characters and smoothly transitions into the second half. Although the writing is strong, the film suffers from a slow pace and repetitive scenes.

Spanning three years, some scenes lack the energy needed to captivate the audience. The mother-son relationship is overemphasized, reminiscent of TV serials, which might not appeal to everyone.

Dhananjay delivers an outstanding performance as Keto, while Ramesh Indira shines as the cunning and charismatic villain, Dinoo. Indira’s portrayal adds a significant spark to the film.

Overall, this movie appeals to those who enjoy melodrama, offering a blend of fresh and nostalgic moments that the audience will appreciate.
