The episode begins early in the morning when Madhav(Bulloo Kumar) sees Jagmohan’s wife taking food for his mother – which raises doubts about their fight. In the next scene, we see a makeshift door being erected on the stairs of the village tank. Later Vikas is seen advising Abhishek about marriage, following a small incident between the former and his wife earlier.

The list of people benefiting from PM’s housing scheme is out, and Bhushan, along with Binod and Madhav realizes that the majority of houses are given to Pradhan Ji’s side of the village and goes on to create a ruckus about it. Further, Madhav tells Bhushan about what he saw in the morning, and the trio goes on to verify the fight between Jagmohan and his mother.

Due to her orchestrated fight, Amma Ji has to take medicine which turns problematic as her health deteriorates in the night. Abhishek gets a call at midnight from Jagmohan that his mother has gotten severely ill. Abhishek wakes up Prahlad and they both arrange for an autorickshaw to take Amma Ji to the clinic in Phakauli Bazar.

Due to the rickshaw owner and Prahlad being drunk, Abhishek has to drive, and they manage to take Amma Ji to the clinic, however thankfully, she is well and returns to her hut later in the morning. Later in the episode, Jagmohan is seen telling Prahlad that he does not want the house anymore and wants to return it because he does not want to live separately from her elderly mother.

Prahlad takes Amma Ji to his house and shows her the value of a house without family members – it only evaluates to the building material and nothing else. This is a very powerful scene as Prahlad pours all his emotions into it.

The episode ends on a very satisfactory and wholesome note as Prahlad is seen cleaning his home and Amma Ji and himself having a quirky banter. Bhushan continues with his theory that whoever gets the house left by Amma Ji should be on his side of the village.

This episode might be a bit slow for some of you but doesn’t fail to convey its message beautifully. Pradhan Ji is saved from a fake house allotment while all of us are given a subtle reality check about materialism and relationships. Faisal Malik continues to shine as Prahlad and the direction is tight enough to make us eventually forget that we’re watching a show and are not residents of Phulera!
