Filmmaker-actress Olivia Wilde responded to the actor Florence Pugh’s lack of social media advocacy for her or their film Don’t Worry Darling. Olivia stated in a new interview that she recruited Florence “to perform” and not “to post,” and that Florence “fulfilled every single expectation” Olivia had for her. Florence was also lauded by the woman, who said that she “performed the job I asked her to do” and completely astounded her.

Olivia responded to Florence’s silence on the movie and Olivia by saying, “Florence is one of the most in-demand actors in the universe. For the past few months, there have been rumours of a fight between Florence and Olivia. She is on the Dune set. I understand that some people anticipate her using social media more frequently. She didn’t work for me to post. She was my actress hire. She exceeded every single one of my expectations for her. To me, that is all that matters. Florence gives an incredible performance in this movie. As do the actors and crew who put so much effort into the film.
