Malaika Arora and Rashmika Mandanna Set the Screen Ablaze in “Poison Baby” from Thamma
The electrifying dance number from Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Thamma brings together glam, groove, and a touch of the supernatural ahead of its Diwali 2025 release.

The makers of Thamma have unveiled their latest song, Poison Baby, and it’s already the talk of the town. The high-energy track features Malaika Arora owning the dance floor with her trademark charisma, joined by Rashmika Mandanna in a pulsating club setting. Sung by Divya Kumar, Jasmine Sandlas, and the composer duo Sachin–Jigar, the song’s infectious beats and psychedelic vibe make it an instant earworm. The lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, adding flair to the lively number.
The video opens with Malaika commanding attention among a group of dancers, her performance perfectly matching the song’s vibrant energy. Ayushmann Khurrana’s character enters the club with Rashmika, attempting to get close to her—but Malaika steals the moment, taking a dramatic sip of red wine before diving back into the groove. Soon after, Rashmika joins her on the dance floor, and together they light up the scene in a swirl of rhythm, color, and mystery. Fans were also quick to spot a brief cameo by producer Amar Kaushik in the video, adding a fun Easter egg to the mix.
Thamma marks the fifth installment in Maddock Films’ popular horror-comedy universe, following Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), Munjya, and Stree 2 (2024). Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. The teaser introduced Ayushmann as an ordinary man who unexpectedly transforms into a vampire, setting off a chain of events that test his love for Rashmika’s character while battling sinister forces led by Nawazuddin.
Described as a “gory love story,” Thamma is set to release on October 21, 2025, coinciding with Diwali. With Poison Baby already setting the tone, the film promises a thrilling mix of music, madness, and mayhem.
