Kristen Bell Dismisses $60 Million Frozen 3 Salary Rumors as “Absurd”
The voice of Anna shuts down viral pay reports but confirms Disney’s blockbuster franchise remains highly rewarding.

Kristen Bell has firmly denied reports claiming she is earning $60 million for the next installments of Disney’s Frozen franchise, calling the figure “absurd.” The actress addressed the swirling rumors during a recent awards appearance, where she reacted with visible surprise to the widely circulated number. Bell clarified that much of what has been reported about her supposed deal for Frozen 3 and Frozen 4 is inaccurate, suggesting the salary speculation spiraled far beyond reality.
The rumors initially suggested that Bell, along with her co-stars Idina Menzel and Josh Gad, had secured massive combined deals for the upcoming sequels. While Bell did not reveal her actual paycheck, she acknowledged that being part of such a globally successful franchise does come with strong compensation. She expressed gratitude for continuing to voice Anna and even joked that she would happily play the character for the rest of her life if Disney allows it.
The Frozen franchise remains one of Disney’s most powerful animated properties. Both previous films crossed the billion-dollar mark at the global box office, turning Anna and Elsa into cultural icons and making the brand a merchandising powerhouse. Disney has officially confirmed that Frozen 3 is in development, with a planned theatrical release set for November 2027, and a fourth film is also in the works.
While the exact salary figures remain undisclosed, Bell’s response highlights how quickly Hollywood pay rumors can escalate — especially when tied to billion-dollar franchises. What’s clear, however, is that the magic of Arendelle is far from over.
