For a very long period, star protagonist Madhavan’s ideal endeavor was rocketry—the Nambi effect. The movie is a biography of retired ISRO scientist and aeronautical engineer Nambi Narayanan. Will see how it does now that the movie is out.
Plot:
The subject of rocketry is renowned Indian researcher Nambiar Narayanan. The movie has two zones as its settings, and Madhavan plays the part of Nambiar. Although the first half focuses on Nambi Narayanan’s career as a scientist, the second half details the stages leading up to the renowned scientist’s accusation of disclosing confidential information about India’s space program. The remainder of the movie describes how the scientist is detained by the CBI, struggles to prove his innocence on his own, and ultimately prevails.
Review-
Without a doubt, Madhavan is the movie’s heart and soul. With this movie, he made his directorial debut and produced his best project to date. After acting in so many commercial movies, Madhavan expertly assumes the role of Nambi Narayanan as well as astounds the crowd with his appearance and demeanor.
Simran, who plays a significant part in the movie, is one of its pleasant surprises. Her emotional outburst, appearance, as well as the way she expresses herself in pivotal scenes, give the movie a lot of depth. The supporting cast of the movie was cast correctly because they had the right purpose in the movie.
Suriya, a superstar, makes a surprise appearance and adds a lot of dimension to the movie at the conclusion. Last but not least, the true hero Nambi Narayanan himself performed exceptionally well in a minor role. Madhavan did a good job at portraying the scenes of the investigation as well as how the scientist dealt with taunts.
Technical Aspects:
Madhavan has taken great care to ensure that the technical quality of his film is outstanding. Sirsha Ray’s outstanding camerawork beautifully captures the period drama. Amazing production values are combined with riveting BGM by Sam CS, which lifts many situations in the second half. The dialogue, as well as dubbing, are both decent in Telugu. In terms of the movie, actor-director Madhavan did a wonderful job. He has effectively described a crucial component of the scientist’s existence. But Madhavan does well for a debutant director.
Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
The overall story of Rocketry-The Nambi Effect is indeed an overarching storyline about the turmoil that one of India’s most renowned scientists experienced after being accused of being a traitor. Major strengths of this movie include Madhavan’s one-man performance and the compelling second half. When you can get over the first half’s plodding pace, this movie is passable and deserves a chance for its sincere production. Madhavan, Simran Bagga, Suriya Sivakumar, and Karthik Kumar are the stars. The movie is directed by R.Madhavan and produced by Vijay Moolan.
