Comedy King Set to Share Screen with Superstar Once Again

Yogi Babu, the undisputed king of comedy in Tamil cinema, has confirmed his involvement in the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster ‘Jailer’. In a recent interview, the versatile actor revealed that director Nelson Dilipkumar is currently working on the script for ‘Jailer 2’ and that he will be reprising his role alongside Rajinikanth.

Known for his non-stop work ethic, Yogi Babu is currently juggling multiple projects, with his lead role in Chimbu Devan’s ‘BOAT’ set to hit theaters on August 2. The actor has been a frequent collaborator with Nelson Dilipkumar, having starred in several of the director’s hit films, including ‘Kolamavu Kokila’, ‘Doctor’, ‘Beast’, and the record-breaking ‘Jailer’.

While details about ‘Jailer 2’ are still under wraps, Yogi Babu hinted that the sequel will be packed with even more comedy than its predecessor. The original ‘Jailer’, a high-octane action thriller with a healthy dose of humor, became a massive box office success, grossing over Rs 600 crore worldwide.
