Yash Reschedules ‘Toxic’ Shoot to Mumbai for Kiara Advani Amid Her Pregnancy

With Kiara Advani set to take a maternity break, Yash steps in to ensure the film’s schedule stays on track by moving key scenes from Bengaluru to Mumbai.

After delivering back-to-back blockbusters with the KGF franchise, Yash has been taking his time carefully selecting his next big project. The superstar’s much-anticipated film Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, has already generated significant buzz, but fans will have to wait a bit longer as its release has now been postponed to March 19, 2026.

The delay in production is largely due to the film’s ongoing shoot schedule and a recent development in the personal life of leading lady Kiara Advani. The actress is currently pregnant and preparing for her maternity break. With some crucial scenes still pending, the team originally planned to complete the shoot in Bengaluru. However, to accommodate Kiara’s situation and minimize her travel, Yash has personally requested that the production move the remaining shoot to Mumbai.

Yash, who is also serving as co-producer on the film, discussed the logistical and financial implications with the film’s production house, KVN Productions. With their full support, director Geetu Mohandas has been asked to restructure the shoot schedule accordingly.

This thoughtful gesture by Yash not only shows his leadership on set but also his commitment to his co-stars’ well-being. Joining the ensemble cast alongside Yash and Kiara are Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Akshay Oberoi, promising a high-powered cinematic experience across multiple Indian languages when it finally hits the big screen.
