Singham Again Postponed to Diwali, Set to Clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster reschedules to avoid Pushpa 2, faces new competition from Kartik Aaryan’s horror comedy

Rohit Shetty’s much-anticipated film, *Singham Again*, originally slated for an Independence Day 2024 release, has been rescheduled for Diwali to avoid a clash with Allu Arjun’s *Pushpa 2: The Rule*. Despite this adjustment, *Singham Again*, the third installment in the Ajay Devgn-led *Singham* series, will now contend with Kartik Aaryan’s *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3*.

In a recent interview, *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3* director Anees Bazmee shared his concerns, saying, “Abhi aapse news aayi hai. Clashes are never a good idea. We had announced our release date for BB3 a year in advance. I don’t know kya karein abhi.” He emphasized that release date conflicts often lead to divided audiences, impacting a film’s box office performance. “Every film suffers when there is a conflict, nuksaan toh hota hai,” Bazmee added, noting that changing their release date wasn’t considered since it had been decided well in advance. He also mentioned his friendship with Ajay Devgn, acknowledging that such scheduling issues are sometimes unavoidable.

*Singham Again* will feature Arjun Kapoor as the primary antagonist, a first for the series. The star-studded cast also includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and other big names, promising a high-octane action film that has fans eagerly awaiting its release.

Meanwhile, *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3*, an exciting horror comedy, began production on March 9, 2024. Kartik Aaryan, the film’s lead, expressed his enthusiasm on Instagram, calling it the biggest film of his career, keeping fans intrigued and excited for its release.
