Renowned lyricists and poets Sayeed Qadri, Faaiz Anwar, AM Turaz, Shabbir Ahmed, Mehshar Afridi, and Azhar Iqbal are set to grace the upcoming episode of the popular comedy show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’ With their presence, the stage is set for an evening filled with laughter, insightful anecdotes, and behind-the-scenes revelations.

Shabbir Ahmed, the mastermind behind the lyrics of the hit song ‘Aaj Ki Party’ from the film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ will captivate the audience with the inspiration behind this popular track. During the episode, the curious host Kapil Sharma will delve into the story behind the creation of ‘Aaj Ki Party.’

Shabbir Ahmed shares a fascinating anecdote, saying, “The entire movie was already shot, and the idea of having a promotional party song emerged. Salman Bhai, known for his iconic dialogue ‘Eid ki party meri taraf se,’ became my inspiration for the song. Initially, Kabir was hesitant about adding a song as the film was already completed, but Salman Khan’s persuasive charm convinced him otherwise. Pritam Ji composed the music, and I had already prepared the hook for the lyrics.”

Adding to the excitement, Shabbir will reveal his own aspirations of becoming an actor. During a candid conversation, Kapil Sharma will inquire about Shabbir’s first encounter with Salman Khan.

Recalling the moment, Shabbir nostalgically says, “Around the year 2000, I met Salman Bhai on the sets of ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar’ at Madh Island. I had gone to meet Sajid-Wajid, and it was during our meeting that they introduced me to Salman Bhai. As a struggling actor with a passion for the craft, I expressed my desire to pursue acting.”

He further recounts, “It was around 3:30 in the night when I met Bhai. Sajid Bhai played a song’s ‘mukhda’ that I had written in front of Salman Bhai, and he liked it. Bhai’s hand on my shoulder filled me with immense joy. When he asked me about my aspirations, I mentioned that I wanted to pursue acting. In response, he advised me to focus on writing songs while he was around and pursue acting later (laughs).”
