Ryan Coogler Remembers OG Black Panther – Chadwick Boseman

Director Ryan Coogler, whose recent movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has been praised, recently revealed that late actor Chadwick Boseman, who played “King T’Challa,” was an essential member of the film’s team since he was the project’s artistic partner.

The filmmaker remarked, “Chad’s passing had a tremendous impact on both the actors and the filmmakers. In this project, in this franchise, and in this storytelling, Chad was a significant member of our creative team.”

Added he, “We would speak about where we wanted the character to go in the plot and how much he respected the other characters and the actors that played them while I would spend time with him alone.
We came to the conclusion that continuing the narrative would only be fitting.”
Shuri struggles to accept Wakanda’s future chapter and her duty as the new Black Panther, the filmmaker continued.
