Social media is buzzing with excitement over Love & War, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming historical drama starring Ranbir Kapoo r, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal—and speculation has been rife that Priyanka Chopra Jonas might be returning to Bollywood with a sizzling dance number. The frenzy began when Priyanka reposted a throwback from her iconic “Ram Chahe Leela” performance in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram‑Leela, leading fans to suspect she may reprise a similar cameo.
However, industry insiders and official sources utterly reject the rumors. Bollywood Hungama reports a source calling it “the absurdest rumour in the history of Bollywood gossip.” The backstage story: Priyanka had performed that song as a favor when Aishwarya Rai bowed out last minute—on the condition of being cast as Bhansali’s next lead. That promise was reportedly broken, causing friction, and the plan for Priyanka in Love & War never materialized.
Filmfare also quotes another trusted source clarifying that while Priyanka and Bhansali maintain mutual respect, there is no collaboration forthcoming. Zoom TV echoes the same, affirming she will not appear in the film.
