Prabhas to Star as Soldier in Pre-Independence Drama “Fauji”

Get ready to see Prabhas in a whole new light! The Telugu superstar will be portraying a soldier in his upcoming film titled “Fauji,” directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The movie, set for a grand launch on August 22nd in Hyderabad, promises a thrilling pre-independence backdrop with a heartwarming love story woven in.

Telugu360 revealed that “Fauji” will be set during the era of Subhash Chandra Bose, the founder of the Azad Hind Fauj. Prabhas is rumored to be playing a member of this iconic freedom fighter’s army. To prepare for the role, the actor is expected to undergo a physical transformation to embody the soldier spirit.

The leading lady for “Fauji” is yet to be confirmed, but reports suggest Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna are frontrunners. The film’s music will be composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, with Mythri Movie Makers handling production.
