Prabhas Celebrates Unique Opportunity in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’

Epic Collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan Marks a Milestone in Indian Cinema

Prabhas regards his involvement in Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” as a fortuitous experience, offering him the chance to collaborate with two titans of Indian cinema: Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. This multilingual epic, initially greenlit as Project K in 2020, features these legendary actors in pivotal roles. The film, produced by Aswini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, promises to transport audiences to an unprecedented cinematic universe.

During a promotional event for “Kalki 2898 AD” on Wednesday night, Prabhas expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m thankful to Amitabh sir and Kamal sir for agreeing to be part of ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ They have both inspired the entire nation. Acting alongside these legends is a great honor.”

Prabhas highlighted Amitabh Bachchan’s wide-reaching appeal, noting, “Amitabh sir, who comes from North India, has a massive fan base in the South, and we should all take pride in his achievements. Kamal sir is equally a huge star with fans across India.”

Reflecting on his admiration for Kamal Haasan, Prabhas shared fond memories of his youth, saying, “In my younger days, I modeled myself after Kamal sir and even tried to have my clothes tailored like the ones he wore in the 1983 film ‘Sagara Sangamam.'”

The promotional event also featured the unveiling of “Bujji,” a life-size futuristic vehicle driven by Prabhas in the film. The actor arrived at the event in this specially designed car, drawing a crowd of over 15,000 fans.

“Kalki 2898 AD” also stars Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. Prabhas extended his gratitude to his co-stars for their involvement in this ambitious project.
