Palak Tiwari on Star Kid Competition: “Why Should I Think About Others When I’m Living My Dream?”

Despite industry pressure and constant comparisons, Palak Tiwari opens up about staying focused on her journey and not letting others’ performances affect her.

Palak Tiwari, daughter of television star Shweta Tiwari, may be a newcomer in Bollywood, but she’s already carving out her own space in the industry. She made her big-screen debut in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan opposite Salman Khan. Although the film didn’t fare well at the box office, Palak managed to grab attention—both for her performance and for her frequent appearances alongside other celebrity star kids.

Lately, she’s been making headlines not just for her work but also for her rumored relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan. In a recent chat with Mashable India, Palak candidly spoke about navigating the film industry alongside fellow star kids like Ibrahim, Suhana Khan, and Ananya Panday, and whether their presence adds any pressure to her journey.

Palak admitted that people often expect a lot from her because of her mother’s legacy, but she’s learned not to let those expectations weigh her down. “People try to put pressure on me because of who my mother is,” she said. “But if you work under pressure, you won’t be able to give your best. So, what’s the point of carrying that burden?”

More than anything, Palak is simply grateful to be living the life she always dreamed of. Acting, she says, has been her passion since childhood. “This is the happiest phase of my life. My dream has come true. So why should I worry about what others are doing?”

Palak’s confident and grounded approach to fame shows that she’s not just here because of her lineage—she’s here to build something of her own.
