Nicolas Cage to star in a Comedy Film

Hollywood icon Nicolas Cage has been cast in the comedy-drama Dream Scenarios in a starring role. The film is being directed by Kristoffer Borgli from a script he wrote, according to the entertainment website Deadline. The project will be financed and produced by the entertainment business A24. Additionally, Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen will create under the Square Peg label. The specifics of the plot are yet unknown.

In the Lionsgate film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Cage recently appeared as himself. The idea that Cage can only find serenity in his private life by severing his ties to the hungry beast that is a movie star career is after all one of the movie’s many subliminal messages. His upcoming film, Renfield from Universal, stars Nicholas Hoult as the title character and him as Dracula.
