NBC welcomes back Melissa Roxburgh, best known for her role in the hit drama series “Manifest,” as she steps into the lead role of the network’s latest venture, “The Hunting Party.” Created by JJ Bailey, the series promises an intriguing blend of crime procedural and high-stakes drama.

In “The Hunting Party,” Roxburgh portrays Rebecca “Bex” Henderson, a former FBI agent renowned for her sharp profiling skills and her history of apprehending some of the world’s most notorious serial killers. Bex finds herself recruited to an elite government task force charged with tracking down and capturing recently escaped criminals from a clandestine prison facility.

This high-concept series, which received a straight-to-series order, is the brainchild of Bailey and Jake Coburn, who also serve as executive producers and co-showrunners.
