Kevin Space Gets Lifetime Achievement Award

The Stella della Mole Award for lifetime Achievement in Italy went to Kevin Spacey. The actor was invited by the National Museum of Cinema in Turin, Italy, on Monday to accept the honour. He then joined the museum director for a masterclass on his life and work.

He was there for his first public appearance since last week, when he entered a not guilty plea to several sexual misconduct accusations in London, England. According to reports, the offences occurred between 2001 and 2005. (Read about Kevin Spacey’s $40 million settlement in a civil sexual assault case in New York.)

Later, Kevin spoke about his career during a seminar with museum director Domenico De Gaetano at Turin’s Mole Antonelliana. He revealed, “Tonight I consider myself extremely lucky. I’ve been doing this job for over 40 years, and I’ve only ever received kindness and support from my fans and coworkers. And I am honored to be part of this process.”
