“Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, is an ambitious Indian epic science fiction action film that has garnered significant attention for its star-studded cast and high production values. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, the film draws inspiration from Hindu eschatology, particularly the concept of Kalki, the prophesied tenth avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu. This narrative forms the backbone of the plot, which envisions a future where humanity battles against demonic forces.
