Kajal Aggarwal Cast as Mandodari in Nitesh Tiwari’s Epic ‘Ramayana’

Joining a stellar ensemble including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, Kajal Aggarwal steps into the pivotal role of Mandodari in the highly anticipated two-part mythological saga set for Diwali releases in 2026 and 2027.

In a significant casting development, actress Kajal Aggarwal has been confirmed to portray Mandodari, the wife of Ravana, in director Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming adaptation of the epic ‘Ramayana’. She will star opposite Yash, who takes on the role of Ravana, adding depth to the film’s portrayal of this mythological narrative.

The film boasts a star-studded ensemble, with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Other notable cast members include Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. The project is being produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, aiming to bring a fresh cinematic interpretation to the ancient Indian epic.
