James Gunn addresses the Gal Gadot and Wonder Woman situation

Several concepts from the previous administration, including Henry Cavill’s return as Superman and Patty Jenkins’ vision for “Wonder Woman 3,” were dropped by director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran. Gal Gadot may have been “booted” from DC as a result of the cancellation of the third chapter of the “Wonder Woman” movie, according to several fans.

Gunn did offer some clarification regarding Gadot and her present position, though.

Gunn retorted, “I’m not sure where you’re getting that we ‘booted’ Gal.
According to Gunn’s reaction, either Gadot is still collaborating with DC on a future Wonder Woman appearance or Gadot left DC on her own initiative during the upheaval.

The new leadership at DC rejected Jenkins’ treatment for “Wonder Woman 3” because it did not match the plans Gunn and Safran had for the DC Universe.
