James Cameron talks about Avatar 3 and the Future

Avatar 3’s release date is fixed for two years from now, even as James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water is scheduled to hit theaters on December 16. Cameron firmly projected that the third installment of the Avatar film series should be released to audiences by December 20, 2024, in an interview with digitalspy.com.

According to him, “Movie 3 is in the cans,” and if the upcoming film succeeds, the production team is “exactly on schedule” to complete three more Avatar films by the year 2028.l.

Cameron acknowledged that the reason for this was his determination that all four Avatar movie scripts be completed before production on them began. Because of this, the second installment of the Avatar film series, which will be released next week, came out 13 years after the first film in the series, which came out in 2009.
